Terms of Service

NIKO Journal is a software service for recording, organizing, reviewing, and analyzing personal trading and journaling information. These Terms apply to the website, account area, journal, related tools, and other features made available through the service. The separate Trading, Prop-Firm, AI, Refund, and Cookie pages provide additional information for those specific subjects and do not replace these Terms.

To use account features, you must provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and keep it reasonably current. You are responsible for:

• keeping your password, verification codes, session credentials, and other account access information confidential;
• all activity carried out through your account, except to the extent caused by a security failure that you could not reasonably prevent;
• using your own account and not sharing access in a way that defeats account or plan controls;
• promptly notifying support if you suspect unauthorized access or another account-security problem;
• using the service only as permitted by these Terms and applicable law;
• reviewing your entries and exports before relying on them, especially after imports, synchronization, or an offline period.

You retain responsibility for the text, trade records, notes, screenshots, voice notes, tags, files, and other information you submit or synchronize through the service (your “User Data”). You give NIKO Journal the limited permission needed to host, store, synchronize, process, display back to you, create your requested exports, provide support, and operate the features you use. NIKO Journal is a record-keeping, analysis, and educational tool. It does not execute trades, manage your brokerage account, custody funds, verify the accuracy of market information, or guarantee that any journal calculation, import, synchronization result, alert, score, report, or other output is complete, current, or error-free. You are responsible for checking your data and decisions. NIKO Journal is not a financial adviser, investment adviser, broker, dealer, portfolio manager, or other investment-advisory service, and nothing in the service is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or use any financial instrument. Where enabled for your account or plan, AI Coach and related AI features may use your prompts and relevant journal context to generate summaries, questions, patterns, or other responses. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You must independently evaluate it and must not treat it as professional, financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or other advice. Do not submit information that you are not authorized to share. Prop-firm tracking and related tools are organizational and educational features for recording challenge information, monitoring user-entered limits or progress, and supporting review. They do not create a relationship with any proprietary trading firm, confirm eligibility, guarantee funding, predict an outcome, or replace a firm’s current rules or decisions. You are responsible for checking the applicable firm’s terms and for every trading or account decision. See the separate Prop-Firm Disclaimer.

The service may offer free and premium plans. Current plan availability, features, prices, billing periods, payment methods, activation requirements, and applicable limits are shown in the service or payment flow when offered and may change. A payment is not complete until the service or its payment process confirms it. You authorize processing of the payment information needed to provide the selected plan. You may request cancellation through the available account controls; the result and timing depend on the plan and payment state shown by the service. Refund information is provided on the separate Refund Policy page. NIKO Journal does not promise a refund or credit except as stated in that policy or otherwise confirmed by support.

You may not misuse the service, bypass authentication or plan controls, interfere with its operation, probe or attack its systems, upload malicious or unlawful material, infringe another person’s rights, impersonate another person, use the service to violate a third party’s rules, or use automated access in a way that imposes an unreasonable load. NIKO Journal and its software, names, visual elements, interfaces, and original content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Subject to these Terms, you may use the service for your personal or internal purposes. We may suspend or terminate access, or remove content, when reasonably necessary for security, misuse, legal compliance, payment or account issues, or protection of the service and its users. You may stop using the service and delete your account through the available controls; deletion may be permanent.

The service may be changed, limited, interrupted, delayed, or unavailable, including because of maintenance, updates, connectivity problems, third-party dependencies, provider outages, or events outside reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, preservation of every User Data item, or that the service will meet every particular need. To the extent permitted by applicable law, use of the service is at your own risk, and NIKO Journal is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit losses arising from or related to the service, data loss, trading activity, or reliance on its outputs. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will use a reasonable way to provide notice through the service or another available channel; continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
